Yaz.

Yaz is an oral contraceptive that is used to prevent pregnancy in women, treat various symptoms associated with premenstrual dysphoric disorder(PMDD) and also to treat moderate acne. It was first approved by the FDA March 16, 2006. Yaz has a black box warning regarding increased risk of blood clots in women who smoke, particularly women over 35. Yaz can also cause gallbladder disease, heart attack, stroke, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism. Law suits that have been filed also include allegations that the advertisements for Yaz were misleading: they advertised the drug to treat acne while downplaying its potentially harmful side effects. If you,or someone you know, took Yaz and suffered from any of these side effects, we will be happy to discuss a potential claim with them.
